Short description

TowerTime is a tower-management simulation that recreates the mechanics of the 1994 elevator-and-skyscraper classic without the old limits: no 100-floor ceiling, 100,000+ simulated people, and friends' towers a visit away. All code, art and names are original. On iOS now via TestFlight.

Long description

Start with a lobby. Stack offices, restaurants, shops, hotel rooms, condos and showpieces above ground and into the basement, then connect it all with stairs, escalators and three kinds of elevator you place, schedule by time of day and tune car by car. Bad transit means stressed tenants who pack up and leave, so the real game is the puzzle of moving people.

Every tenant has a generated name and a daily routine; track a favorite and follow them day after day. Run the economy across rents, hotel nights, condo sales and daily takings, grow your rating from one star toward five and a secret rank beyond, and react to fires, bomb threats, VIP visits and hidden treasure. Underneath the pixels is a deterministic simulation that runs identically on every device and comfortably handles six-figure populations, plus an art pipeline that draws every sprite in code. Nothing is borrowed: the code, art and names are all original.

As of July 2026 the towers are connected. Exchange a short friend code and visit a friend's tower as a running simulation, then leave an applaud, a wow, or a roach for them to find on their next sync, and browse a public gallery of published towers. Cloud saves are optional: the game is fully playable offline by default, one tap enables cloud backup with a guest account (no signup), and Sign in with Apple carries towers across devices. Because the sim is deterministic, the server verifies saves by replaying them.

Key features

  • The mechanics of the 1994 classic, recreated and re-tuned, with fully original code, art and names.
  • The elevator is the game: standard, express and service elevators with per-time-of-day scheduling and car-level tuning.
  • None of the old limits: no 100-floor ceiling, and a deterministic sim that handles 100,000+ people per tick.
  • Async multiplayer: swap friend codes, visit friends' living towers, react (applaud / wow / roach), and browse the public tower gallery.
  • Optional cloud saves: fully playable offline by default; one-tap guest cloud backup, Sign in with Apple to keep towers across devices, saves verified by deterministic replay.
  • 22 facility types, each with day/night and activity-state art, from a corner shop to a three-storey rooftop cathedral.
  • Named, trackable tenants with stress, schedules and small human stories.
  • 100% original, procedurally generated art: every sprite drawn entirely in code by the game's own toolchain; the images on this site are the real game art.
