Terms of Use
Last updated: 6 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the TowerTime website at towertime.app (the "Site") and, where stated, the game's optional online service (cloud saves and multiplayer, the "Service"). By using the Site or the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
1. Beta / pre-release information
TowerTime is in beta. Everything on this Site (features, art, names, numbers, screenshots and timelines) is provided for general information, is subject to change without notice, and is not a promise that any particular feature, price or release date will be delivered.
2. The game and its online Service
- Offline by default. The game is fully playable without the Service. Cloud saves and multiplayer are optional features you can enable and disable.
- No ads, no purchases, no real money. The game currently contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no real-money transactions of any kind. In-game funds are play money with no monetary value, and cannot be bought, sold, or exchanged.
- Your content. Display names, tower names and published tower snapshots must be lawful and must not be offensive, infringing, or impersonate others. You keep ownership of what you create; by publishing a snapshot you allow us to display it to other players (for example in the gallery). We may remove content, restrict social features, or suspend accounts that break these rules, abuse the Service, or cheat.
- Availability. The Service is provided as-is during beta and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Your local saves always remain on your device. See the privacy policy for how to delete your account and data.
3. Intellectual property
All content on this Site, including the TowerTime name, logo, text, and all artwork and code, is original and owned by us or our licensors, and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or create derivative works from it without our prior written permission, except for the press materials we expressly make available for editorial use on our press page.
4. Non-affiliation
TowerTime is an original work inspired by the tower-management simulation genre. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with SimTower, Maxis, OpenBook, Electronic Arts, or any other third party. Any such names are used only for nominative, descriptive reference and remain the property of their respective owners.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site or the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or compromise them, accessing them through automated means that place an unreasonable load on them, scraping them for resale, tampering with save validation, or using them for any unlawful purpose.
6. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites and services we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, policies or practices, and a link does not imply endorsement.
7. No warranty
The Site and the Service are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or the Service.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site or the Service after we post changes means you accept the revised terms. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the developer's state of residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply, nothing here limits your rights under them.
